Child Abduction

International Child Abduction or Legal Kidnapping, is the kidnapping of a minor or the improper transfer of the child, most of the time, made by a custodial parent or not, who acts with the conviction of being in her own right and brings the child to live in a State different from that of habitual residence, when that happens, you have to do good and fast.

There are several tools that allow the “victim” parent or the parent who transfers the child to protect themselves:

- Hague Convention 25/10/1980;

- Regulation No 2201/03 (Brussels II bis);

- Luxembourg Convention 25/5/1980;

- UN Convention 25/11/1989;

- Law No 15 January 1994 64.
